INTRODUCING SPIRIT GAMING FROM GERMANY

Spirit Gaming is a brand new gaming company that began trading on 1st April 2011. The company has been founded by Mr. Frank Ziegler, who as Managing Director will be directing the sales, marketing and growth of Spirit Gaming.
Spirit Gaming is a completely independent gaming company owned by Mr. Ziegler. Given Mr. Ziegler’s long-standing international experience in international gaming, the focus of Spirit Gaming will thus be on international gaming machine distribution. Spirit Gaming has already concluded its first major partnership agreement. Merkur Gaming has appointed Spirit Gaming as its official international distributor. Therefore, Spirit Gaming is a new distribution contact for Merkur Gaming. Mr. Ziegler explains, “Gauselmann products continue to be extremely successful in the home German market. Merkur Gaming, as the international arm of Gauselmann, continues to gain in popularity with an extremely wide choice of games and cabinets. Spirit Gaming will be supporting Merkur Gaming as an international distributor in the further growth strategy”.
Mr. Ziegler can look back on many years of experience in the gaming market that span over the casino, VLT and AWP markets. The foresight and vision that Mr. Ziegler brings to the gaming market is exemplified by his dedication to bring the ticket-in, ticket-out to the German casino world. In his managerial position at Germany’s largest casino group, WestSpiel, Mr. Ziegler played a major role in the bringing WestSpiel’s flagship casino in Duisburg to life. All the slots were introduced with ticket-in, ticket-out right from the start when the casino was opened in February 2007. Casino Duisburg is the most successful casino in Germany.
The knowledge as Sales and Marketing Director of Merkur Gaming paved the way for Spirit Gaming. Mr. Ziegler explains, “Very exciting times face Merkur Gaming in the international gaming markets. The international gaming market is large and complex and we at Spirit Gaming will be supporting Merkur Gaming to open and grow new markets”.
German engineering is respected around the world and the quality and reliability of the Merkur Gaming products ‘made in Germany’ underlines this. A very exciting and comprehensive games library completes the package. Mr. Uwe Horn, Managing Director of Merkur Gaming, expands upon the new partnership with Spirit Gaming, “As part of the Gauselmann Group, Merkur Gaming can make use of the great pool of successful games from the German market. Naturally we tailor all our games to local customs and regulations as necessary. Frank Ziegler’s expert knowledge of the international gaming markets makes Spirit Gaming an ideal partner for us.”

The gaming selection of Spirit Gaming is set to grow quickly. “We have been in discussions with major gaming machine manufacturers and will be in a position to offer further solutions shortly, such as bingo machines and electronic roulette”, notes Mr. Ziegler, indicating of the further distribution contracts that are to follow.
